Silvermyst Academy Policies and Guidelines
1. Introduction Welcome to Silvermyst Academy! We are dedicated to providing high-quality educational experiences to help students develop essential skills in technology, business, and digital productivity. By enrolling in our courses and using our platform, students agree to abide by the following policies and guidelines.
2. Code of Conduct Silvermyst Academy is committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. All students are expected to:
Treat instructors and fellow students with respect.
Avoid disruptive behavior during class sessions.
Follow all course schedules, deadlines, and participation requirements.
Refrain from plagiarism, cheating, or any form of academic dishonesty.
Use appropriate language in discussions and communications.
Any violations of the code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or removal from the academy.
3. Attendance and Participation
Attendance is mandatory for all live sessions and scheduled meetings.
Students must notify the instructor in advance of any planned absences.
Three unexcused absences may result in academic probation.
Tardiness: Arriving late to class three times will be counted as one absence.
Active participation in class discussions, activities, and assignments is required.
4. Grading and Assessment Silvermyst Academy follows a traditional grading scale:
A: 90-100%
B: 80-89%
C: 70-79%
D: 60-69%
F: Below 60%
Assessments include quizzes, assignments, projects, and participation grades. Students who score below 70% may be placed on academic probation and required to attend tutoring sessions.
5. Virtual Learning Guidelines
Courses are conducted via Google Classroom and other digital platforms.
Students must have a stable internet connection and required software installed.
Virtual meeting etiquette:
Cameras must be on unless instructed otherwise.
Backgrounds should be appropriate and free from distractions.
Microphones should be muted when not speaking.
Professional or casual attire should be worn during class sessions.
6. Payment, Refund, and Withdrawal Policy
Payment: Course fees must be paid in full before the start of the class.
Refund Policy:
Full refunds are available if a withdrawal request is submitted at least 7 days before the course start date.
A 50% refund is available for withdrawals made less than 7 days before the course starts.
No refunds will be issued after the course begins.
Withdrawal Policy:
Students may request withdrawal in writing via email.
Requests will be processed within 7-10 business days.
7. Non-Discriminatory Policy Silvermyst Academy is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
8. Academic Integrity Policy
Students are expected to submit their own work.
Plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, or cheating will result in disciplinary action.
Consequences may include a failing grade for the assignment, academic probation, or removal from the course.
9. Student Self-Evaluation Students will be required to complete a self-evaluation at the midpoint and end of each course. The evaluation includes:
Reflection on learning objectives and achievements.
Feedback on course effectiveness.
Identification of personal strengths and areas for improvement.
Goal-setting for continued learning and development.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Silvermyst Academy respects students’ privacy and protects personal data.
Information collected is used solely for course administration and communication.
We do not share personal data with third parties without consent.
